HI Darren, been reading through comments and the ones wrote by N. Ali on the 14th Jan 2010 and 19th Jan 2010 relates to the same situation i,m in. Booked a holiday with on the beach and paid the same way,could you please ask N.ALI how they managed to get a refund as i,ve been in dispute with them for seven month now and am getting nowhere. I can,t understand how on the beach can refund some people as a goodwill gesture and not others. I am in the process in taking them to a small claims court to try and get my £1638.00 back. Hope you can give me some help and advice.Paul B

hi, we paid by lloyds/tsb visa debit card and was fortunate enough to get our flight money back, we just lost out on the hotel & train tickets we had paid to get us to glasgow but can live with that

In reply post regarding paying with visa debit. I received full refund from HBOS, only after i appearded on BBC2 Working Lunch high lighting the banks stance that they didn’t know anything about refunding debit card payments. Typical banks waiting until it is forced into action.

After a few months of chasing The Royal Bank filling out chargeback forms etc , I got nowhere , Because I paid maestro they are unable to refund my money .
Bye Bye to my £1700 that i saved up for months for my first holiday in 7 years !!

hi, Im happy to say that Capital One refunded my credit card with no fuss, I completed the forms and sent them back (quoting Section 75 rights) just prior to Xmas and the credit was on my credit card account approx 3 weeks later.

Hope everyone was as lucky.
