My biggest peeve is ANYONE that reclines their seat in coach - I mean seriously - there is about 24 inches of room between a persons head and the seatback in front of them and then some (insert name calling word here) reclines their seat into my already very small breathing space! That lowers the distance by 8-12 inches depending on the airline - YES I measured! This is especially annoying when using a laptop and now you can't open the screen to a 90 degree angle anymore or when trying to drink your airline provided drink the cup scrapes the back of the seat everytime you lift it. And guess what I bet you people complaining about the seat kickers - most of you are getting kicked becuase you reclined YOUR seat into THEIR knees and face! You can bet if you recline your seat into my face I BECOME a really agressive seat kicker and in defense of Julia above - I will pull on the back of your seat EVERY stinkin chance I get! I iwll push down on that tray table a million times and will open and close it madly a number of times. AND best of all I WILL cough all over your head. hey I can't help it - you wanted to be closer to me by reclining your seat didn't you??? The way I see it, you have annoyed me by taking up almost half my breathing space and now I have to stare at the top of your nasty head for hours - you better believe I AM going to make your time on that plane just as miserable as you are making mine!!! Don't like it? Then don't recline your seat on coach!!!!!!!!!

I just finished traveling around the country for job interviews and I had relatively great flights/passengers. But the last flight I had this lady who obviously thought I was stupid. First, she lied about not knowing which seat to sit in....she was supposed to sit in the middle seat but got the window? To this day I still do not see the reasoning behind her "I couldn't figure out the seat diagram". Second, I was stuck in the middle and she was obese...so I got half of a seat with her taking up the other 1.5. Seriously, if you are that fat, buy two seats! I hear your pain Ben! And I totally agree about pulling on the back of my head rest...can't you people see that you are giving me whiplash when you pull yourself up?

The family that let their child play hide and seek underneath the seat infront and then let their 9 month old baby crawl in the aisle right infront of the drinks cart then scream at you like a maniac, even though you have realised just in time! It's your child, look after it.

Also, the thing that really annoys me and I see it over and over again is people going to the toilet with no shoes or socks on, if only they thought about how many people had thrown up on that floor or the drunken men that can't aim straight, you just have to look at the floor and you can see it's filthy!

Couples that sit across the aisle from each other holding hands then tut or complain when you take the trolley past them, seriously guys we have a job to do.

The thing that annoys me which i dont think has been mentioned yet is somebody who has a cold. the constant sneezing and blowing of the nose irritates me no end, especially when you find tissues down the side of your chair or on your lap. also, its the person who falls asleep, their head falling onto your shoulder constantly, or even your lap. not the best situation to be in as someone walks by.
