Travel BlogCamp 2009 registration opens

Last year I organised the inaugural Travel BlogCamp, in a London city bar overlooking the river Thames and St Paul’s Cathedral during the World Travel Market. I received a lot of positive feedback about the event so this year I have decided to organise it again.

What I particularly enjoyed about last year was that I could network with other bloggers that I had only communicated with through email or online and it was also good to listen to travel companies and how they are trying to understand or use social media and blogs.

Venue: Doggett’s Riverside Bars, London
Date: Tuesday 10 November 2009
Time: 6 pm – 11 pm

Thank you to the fantastic sponsors because without their support this event would not be possible.

You can find out more about the sponsors, soon, on the Travel BlogCamp site.

I didn’t want to bore readers who are not interested in the event so I have created a dedicated website where you can read more about our sponsors and speakers. A number of bloggers have added their experiences in using social media and blogs and it is an interesting read.

Speakers:

Murray Harrold – Advantage Travel
Joel Brandon-Bravo – Frommer’s
Guillaume Thevenot – Hotel Blogs
Eva Keogan – Lastminute.com
Darren Cronian – Travel Rants

Moderated by:

Kevin May – Tnooz

Information on the venue can be found here.

Registration is now open. The event is free but to register you will need to complete the registration form. We are limited with space so only 2 tickets per company/party will be allowed. Thank you to Alex and Paul at Tour CMS for their assistance.
