Next month I am going to be on the Travel Bloggers Summit panel at the PhoCusWright ITB conference in Berlin. I am pleased that the organisers have asked me to take part, and it’ll be a whole new experience for me.

On the panel will also be:
» Klaus Hildebrand, Editor in Chief, FVW
» Kevin May, Editor, Travolution
» Martin Schobert, CIO, Austrian National Tourist Office
I’ll write more about the event nearer the time, but briefly, it’ll be split up into two days, Wednesday will be the Travel Bloggers Summit workshops, then on Thursday, the main conference will take place, including speakers from the likes of TripWolf, Kayak, Venere and Open Skies.
If you are going to be in Berlin during the 10-13 March and attending the PhoCusWright ITB conference then let me know in the comments. It’ll be good to find out who is heading out there.
On a side note, a date has been set for the Travel BlogCamp. Again, it’ll be during the World Travel Market in London, on Tuesday 10 November 2009. I’ll be publishing more information nearer the time, but add the date into your diaries.

Darren, that’s great that you have been invited to be a panelist in Berlin.
I visited the Bloggers Summit and the ITB last year enjoyed meeting other bloggers in person. Unfortunatetly I can’t make it this year.

Hey, Darren – I’ll be there! I heard through the grapevine that you might be organizing a Twitter meetup as well. Any word on that?
