I have a blog - http://www.flyerblogs.com that is focused on business air commuters on long distance runs. These people are spending $1000's/week on travel and are true frequent flyers. I have a community of several hundred businessmen and women who (this is true) commute from Israel to the US (mainly to NY) on a weekly basis.

These people have many concerns very specific to their needs and the industry might want to listen. One timely post was about Air Canada Jazz removing life vests from their flights to save fuel. Fortunately, USAir did not chose that method of weight reduction.

Hi Darren,
Thanks for listing www.enviro.aero on your round-up of travel industry blogs. We are very happy with the way that enviro.aero has taken off and, in the new year, look forward to playing a bigger role in creating discussion between the aviation industry and the wider travel sector about some of the things we are doing to reduce our environmental footprint.

All the best for 2009!

Hi Darren,

Thanks for choosing Hotel Blogs as the "must read" blogs for the travel industry. After Elliott and you now, I get new readers. That's fantastic. I also discover new blogs. Even better.

Cheers,

Guillaume

Excellent list, I completely agree, I bet most travel companies don't read these blogs, especially the SEO related blogs!

Interesting list, Darren. And if the industry can make time to get to grips with the industry insight held in blogs, I'm sure they will reap the rewards.

I'd really like to see an authoritative blog about responsible travel on that list. Any ideas?
