Next month I will be attending the World Travel Market (WTM), my first visit since 2006, so I am looking forward to it. I love the atmosphere of the exhibition halls at ExCel. Being a short arse has it’s advantages, but not when it’s crowded, so it takes some strategic planning to get around.

If you are attending World Travel Market either as a consumer, blogger, or travel company then it’ll be great to meet up with as many readers as possible. Living up North means I do not get many opportunities to travel to London, so I want to make the most of it.
Exhibition stalls
There’s some fantastic stalls and it’s evident that a lot of time and effort has been put into designing them. I enjoy walking around the country exhibition stalls, and learning more about the destination, and of course finding the best free gifts is fun.
I’ll be taking my camera so expect tons of photos and snippets of live video depending if I can get a good WiFi connection on my mobile telephone.
Introduce yourself
As I mentioned I am short, so you will not miss me (or maybe you will not see me) when I am wondering around the exhibition halls. If you have a stall, then let me know the number and I will pop by and introduce myself.
What is a travel blog
On my visit in 2006, when I mentioned that travel rants was a ‘travel blog’ everyone looked at me blank. So, I wonder if I will receive the same response, two years on. If you want to get in touch, my mobile number is on the contact me page.

Darren,
I imagine there will be fewer blank faces this time. In fact, I would have thought you would be a popular man to talk to!

Don’t be-little yourself Darren – unless your photo is actual size!

@ Neil
Haha I can’t help it. It’s one of my flaws. Don’t tell anyone that though

Hi Darren
I tried to follow your links to see some videos from the last exhibition but the links don’t seem to work – where can I view them now?
