Just to Clarify Darren, any Hand Luggage should be stowed in the overhead bins, if any hand luggage is placed on the floor of the aircraft, then for take off and landing it has to be placed in front of your legs and not under your seat. But Quite rightly, if the luggage stays between your feet for a long duration, then yes it will restrict movement. Best use the overhead bins.
Another little medical tip for those that suffer from midges and mossie bites. Put a blob of Toothpaste on the bite and it will help relieve the itching.
Do not mix Booze and the Sun, most cases of Stomach problems and severe headaches are not the result of Dodgy food or water, but cases of Sunstroke. Also not forgetting that you can get a healthy suntan by just walking around, you don't need to lye and frazzle for all day long !
Do not drink gallons of Ice Cold Water, Fizzy Drinks, Beer etc, let the Chill go away for a bit and then enjoy. The Stomach lining is not used to beeing bombarded by Ice Cold liquids and again Stomach problems can be avoided if you heed this advice.
Good article Darren.
