I hope you will help me give a warm welcome to Amanda Kendle who will be writing once or twice a week on travel consumer issues and news. I’m looking forward to working with Amanda, with the aim of making Travel Rants an essential source of information and advice for travel consumers.

A new addition to Travel Rants

Here’s some information about Amanda:

- lives in Perth, Western Australia
- loves travelling and highlights have been a Trans-Siberian crossing
- has lived in Japan, Slovakia and Germany, working as an English (as a foreign language) teacher.
- blogs at Jaunted, HotelChatter and Vagabondish
- she’s desperately trying to finish her first novel, set in Japan

Welcome aboard Amanda.
