Well, not my waistline, I’m on a diet as of yesterday and I’m pretty fed up of eating carrots and grapes already, but anyway, I am looking for a partner in crime, a blogger to help me grow Travel Rants into the most useful and largest travel blog the world has ever seen (insert evil laughter here)

Seriously though, I am looking for an experienced travel blogger or writer to write about travel consumer issues and news once or twice a week to take off some of the workload of writing so that I can spend this time improving the blog’s presence on the internet.
If you are interested or require more information contact me via the blog.

Does the writer have to blog at the moment. I have written travel articles but I do not have a blog.

Hi James, Not necessarily, if you can send me via email some examples of your work I can take a look.

What are your rates? I know plenty of budding writers/bloggers/hacks…
Darren Cronian | 7 March, 2008 at 12:39 pm
Good question Kevin.
I have to be very careful because I don’t want to be seen as ‘employing’ someone as such because then I have to go down the PAYE, so I am looking for a freelancer I suppose, who tells me what their rate is per post or per hour.
Does this make sense?

Hmmm, sounds interesting to me, too.

I would love to contribute. My blog is creating more and more of a buzz and now I write for Seoul Selection magazine here in Seoul, South Korea.
I’m planning a two week vacation in Thailand starting on the 14 of this month. I will review some hotels, a cooking school, etc. I will write them for some pretty well known newspapers and magazines back home in the States. I’m not that seasoned but I have drive, determination and am a real people person, which is opening a lot of doors for me in Korea. Oh! My photos will be in a book about design and sustainable living, launching in August 2008! Interested?

Hi, Darren!
Travelrat here; I’m interested … but, if I’m successful, can you pay by cheque? Me and PayPal got issues!

Thanks to everyone who has emailed me or left comments here. I’m impressed by how many of you have shown an interest.
I have three or four great potential travel rants bloggers that I am in the process of communicating with.
If I don’t get in touch thanks for your interest.

Hey Keith. I’m definitely interested. I travel at least every two months if not more. My husband is a flight attendant so I get megga discounts. I can bring my own experiences to the table as well as bring up some interesting topics on places, hotels, airports, food, culture, etc. Let me know…
