Oh erm, yes, I have published my first podcast, well actually, it’s a trial, but, erm, yes I say erm a lot in the podcast. Let me know what you think; I discuss the increase in credit card and loan ads on travel sites and mention the travel blog carnival..

The Travel Rants Podcast

I’m waiting for the jingle people to get back to me to make the podcast a little more entertaining but I’d be interested in your comments. Do I talk too fast? Is the podcast long enough or too short? Can you understand my dodgy Yorkshire accent? I do waffle when nervous.

Please let me know so I can improve the next trial podcast before making this a regular feature.

Thanks Amy! :)

Erm any more comments. Is it really that bad? hehe

I think it sounds really good, and I like that you request info from your listeners as you do with your readers. It’s good that you ended your podcast with a humorous line, might want to keep that up with future podcasts. It’s good to have a signature style that keeps listeners coming back!

Also, don’t worry too much about saying “erm”, honestly. It adds a human element that doesn’t make your podcast sound overly edited or scripted.

Now I’m waffling on :) Happy to help if you want more feedback!

@ Brian

Thanks, I’ve been incredibly busy, and haven’t recorded the next trial podcast, hoping to do that this week though. I also haven’t forgotten to email you about your question about blogs. Will get on with that tonight..
