the nordic skiing includes all types of skiing where the heel of the boot cannot be fixed to the ski. so ‘normal skiing” is not a nordic skiing but cross country , ski jumping or biathlon is.
hope that clarifies things a bit.

What’s the difference between nordic skiing and normal skiing or isn’t there a difference?
