Promote your Blog and Join our Carnival

Last week I mentioned the launch of the Travel Blog Carnival which is an interesting way of sharing useful and interesting travel content on the internet and in the process help unite bloggers from across the World.

Promote your Blog and Join our Carnival

Have you recently written an inspiring, interesting or informational blog post relating to travel that you think the World should know about? If the answer is yes, then the Travel Blog Carnival group want to hear from you.

Instructions

Email us a link to this post to travelblog.carnival [at] gmail.com – the content must be your own writing and unique so articles from splogs [spam blogs] will not be permitted.

Please do not send links to just any blog post that you have written months ago, as it must have been published on your blog within the last 7 days. One of our group bloggers will choose their favourite blog posts each week and write a short summary about their favourites on their blog.

On Travel Rants I will be creating an archive of these posts so that we will have an index of all the content.

The deadline for sending in your blog posts is midnight [GMT] every Tuesday, for blog posts written in the previous 7 days.

Travel Blog Carnival Group

At the moment there are 23 bloggers in the group [list provided soon] so for 23 weeks we will have a different blogger promoting travel blog posts from around the World. If the carnival takes off, then we’ll be looking for new group members.

Why do this?

Well, it’s an excellent way to share the wealth of information out there on the internet and it means new and struggling blogs get the opportunity of having their content mentioned on more high profile blogs to help them attract more readers.

More importantly for me I think it’s a great way for a community of bloggers to work together and unite.

I’m afraid unless we get some a serious number of submissions in the next week I’ll have no alternative but to end the travel blog carnival from travel rants. The carnival cannot work without bloggers participating.

I started a blog about traveling in Ireland (the Republic) this fall. It’s a collection of travel advice and where to go, what to do. There’s quite a bit of information on fabric and craft stores too. And starting next week, there’ll be photos of Ireland!
