Isn't this just business? I also thought that the reason consolidators (or old style bucket shops which is how Trailfinders started) sometimes had better deals than buying directly from an airline which was because they'd committed to buying a certain amount of seats on aircraft, thus taking some financial risk away from the carrier/helping their cashflow. Again, isn't this just business? Apologies, if I've got anything wrong, it's not an area of expertise and not something I've studied i great depth, just my feeing on the market. The information is only passed to the US and Spain before the flight takes off, so the ticket will already have the name of the person traveling, and that is the information sent to the US and Spain.
