I’m laid up in my sickbed with a horrible virus [no not man flu!] and only my laptop for comfort. I have noticed a number of emails arrive in my inbox asking questions on travel consumer issues that have being discussed previously on Travel Rants, so here’s a list of posts to keep you busy on Sunday.

To find more information on consumer issues use the search box in the top right hand corner, type in a keyword like ‘package holiday’ and it’ll list all of the posts with this keyword. Please feel free to still contact me, but due to the number of emails I am receiving, bear with me.
Enjoy – I’m off back to sleep.

This sickness the result of the ale crawl?

Nope HH, I was fine on Wednesday, the virus came on in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The ale crawl was great though! There’s too many fancy bars where I live and only a few proper English pubs!

You don’t mind if I say that a “proper English Pub” is only proper for the English as for me as a Dutchman the “beer” you fancy over there is not drinkable
Too much water in it … water is for the frogs.

HH, do you mean beer or lager?
Lager is too watery I agree, but proper beer, i.e. Tetleys, John Smiths
