Over the past two weeks I have run a little experiment on online booking for solo travellers, and the results of this experiment will be published early next week. I’m actually going on holiday with my brother in October, but I wanted to see what it was like booking a package holiday for 1 person.

Anyway, whoo hoo I am off to Bali in Crete in October, for 7 nights of relaxation. Whilst holiday review sites are great at helping you filter out the rubbish hotels and apartments, it takes twice as long to book a holiday because you’re checking the reviews out before you book!

I’ve booked the holiday with Olympic Holidays, and I found it was cheaper to book online [only by £25] than it was to actually telephone them, but I had some questions, like how far is it from the airport to the accommodation, which wasn’t included on the website, so I booked via the telephone, which was a quick and hassle free process.
