Wandering around the internet in the early hours appears to be a regular occurrence for me at the moment, but last night I surfed on to an attracting looking travel forum which specialises in luxury travel called Extravigator.com

I signed up for a beta account and literally within an half an hour the invite hit my inbox [one of the advantages of being a travel blogger!] and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a forum, but it’s not like the traditional forum you come to expect.

What first grabbed my attention was the design, very well laid out and easy to navigate, and despite the Google Map mashup being a little untidy, it was easy to find luxury hotel and restaurant reviews by clicking on the icon.

The site is split up into various categories including Top hotels, Dining out, and Luxury air travel, which made it easier to find discussions on specific subjects. It’s very rare that I travel in luxury, but I’d certainly visit Extravigator if I fancy splashing out some cash.
