Well, tomorrow I am heading to London until Friday on a training course, and I feel guilty that I am flying there, when I should be thinking about the environment. There are reasons for this, but I have convinced the company I work for that in future we should be taking a more environment friendly approach in future.

What's Your Carbon Footprint?

With all these floods, and freaky hot weather in other parts of Europe, the experts are telling us that it’s the start of global warming, and I’m not sure if it is, but I do know we’ve left it late to defend our country against floods, and we need to look at what countries like Holland have done to protect their towns and cities.

If like me you don’t know what your carbon footprint is, you can use the Act on CO2 calculator to find out.

I’ll give this calculator a try, I know I am going to fail!

I did fail :(

Oh well, I have started to turn the TV and electricial equipment off, not just on stand-by.

Well its good that you’ve learnt something off the site Rohan.

I’ve now got low energy bulbs, in all the rooms in my apartment, and like you I make sure the equipment is turned off rather than on stand-by especially the monitor and PC.
