An email from American Airlines arrived in my inbox today informing me of the launch of their new video e-magazine, called Milestones, which also offers a community forum where travellers can share photos from their travels.

The videos feature famous landmarks and provide an overview of destinations, the first being Rome. I enjoyed watching the short video and it installs some humour into what could of been, yet another travel video of Italy’s capital city. I was impressed to read that they are 56 million AAdvantage members worldwide, which apparently is free to join.
Finally, I received a few invites to Vibe agent a new travel community where members can write hotel reviews, create groups, and network with travel addicts like myself. They kindly offered me another 10 invites, so if you’d like to join this new community ahead of its launch then drop me an email.
That’s it – time for my bed.

We flew with AA a few years back and was disappointed with the service. Maybe they should spend less time promoting silly videos and more time working on improving their shocking attitude to travellers.
