The people at Crowne Plaza have informed me of its first national ad campaign. I don’t watch a great deal of TV, but thinking about this, has anyone seen a hotel chain advertise on the television before? I am sure there must have been, just none of the ads stick in my mind.

Anyway, the ads feature a cast of celebs and golf pros (including Lee Trevino, Alice Cooper and George Lopez) in an unscripted conversation about golf, travel, game secrets, etc. around a Crowne Plaza conference table.
