My last blog post for a week, as I am heading to Riga in Latvia, to take in the local attractions, drink the local beer, and relax. I’m starting to receive an increased number of consumer complaints – please can consumers include, full details of the complaint, the travel company concerned, and your full name and dates of your holiday.

Taking a break in Latvia

Your complaint will then be investigated with the company concerned before it’s published on this blog to ensure that both sides of the story are looked into. This will also ensure that travel companies are not using this blog to ‘bash’ their competitors.

Have a nice week.

Have a good trip Darren. Looking forward to your tales when you return and hopefully you’ve found a soundproof hotel room ;-)

I think you are right to be cautious over complaints about holiday companies and look at both sides of the story before publishing. However it could mean a lot of work for you. In a way it is unfortunate if the complaints you receive show that holiday companies are not dealing with customers concerns properly and promptly in the first place and customers are having to look to a 3rd party such as Travel Rants to intervene to try to resolve the issues.
