Chris DeBrusk, kindly contacted me a few weeks back to inform me that he had added Travel Rants on to his new venture, this being TravelGator. For a new site it already has a lot of content for travellers, and includes travel logs written by fellow travellers, which are a good read.

The feature that I like the most though is that you can create your own trip plan, and since I am planning going to the US and Canada in 2008, I have started to create my own plan where I can add destinations, notes, and then share the trip plan with fellow travellers.

I like the site design, and registration is easy and quick, my only negative comment is that even on high speed broadband the site seems a little sluggish to me, and some of the pages seemed to take a while to download – other that that, if you’re planning a trip, it’s worth checking out TravelGator.
