Today I did a little research about Oslo and I was surprised to find out that transport and museum entrance is quite cheap, for example my airport transfer on the Article Express coach from Torp to Oslo, is only £20 return.

Preparing for my trip to Oslo

The Oslo pass which provides access to museums and free access to the cities public transport system is only £25 for 2 days, which is great value for money considering how many museums you gain access to with this pass. You can also buy 24 hour and 72 hour passes.

It was refreshing to talk to the Oslo tourist information office this morning because they were extremely helpful and wanted to help, which makes a change from the UK tourist offices, which I’ve found quite unhelpful in the past.

Well, I should be going, hopefully I’ll manage to get in one or two blog posts during my stay in Oslo, so keep checking the blog during my absence to find out what I am getting up to.
