Over the last couple of years Airlines have become much stricter on baggage allowances, and this week I’ve been looking around for baggage that will securely store my passport, foreign currency, and my new digital SLR style camera and equipment.

Introducing Think Tank Photo Gear

Then by magic I receive an email from Think Tank Photo informing me of the new rolling carry-on backpack called Airport International that lets photographers legally store their bodies [not human bodies!!] lenses, and accessories in overhead bins or under the seats of aircraft.

Product designer, Doug Murdoch told me

… we’ve listened to photographer fears and designed in strong, customizable features that allow them to use this rolling camera bag not only as a means of transporting equipment from one site to the next… As it is a roller, photographers can move from quickly from one flight to the next and without the burden of carrying this weight on their shoulders.

The Airport International is the latest addition to Think Tank Photo’s exclusive line of rollers, backpacks, and briefcases specifically designed to aid photographers in transporting their gear safely through airports and into the field - Think Tank Photo gear is available in the UK through Snapper Stuff.

Cool gear on that site!! I don’t own a digital camera, so no good for me, but even so, it’s useful.
