This weekend I’ll be travelling down to Malvern to attend the Select World Travel Holiday Show, at the Malvern Theatre. I must admit that I’d not heard of Malvern until I came across Lee Harrison from Select World Travel, so today I dug around to find out some interesting facts about this town, situated in Worcestershire, England.

Travel Rants on Tour - Malvern

Did you know that…

• C.S. Lewis, author of the Lion, Witch & the Wardrobe attended Malvern College
• Malvern is a famous spa, known for its bottled water since 1622
• The altitude of the town ranges from about 50 to 200 meters (164 to 656 feet)
• Malvern is the home of one of the oldest alternative festivals in the world

I’m staying at the Abbey Hotel, in Malvern, so if you’re in the area let me know, or drop by the Select World Travel Holiday Show, at the Malvern Theatre on Sunday, 28th between 11am and 4pm and you’ll see me mingling!
