Today, I came across GeoBeats.com an excellent resource for travellers who want to find out more information about their destination. All of the videos are professionally filmed, but unlike Travelistic, GeoBeats.com doesn’t allow travellers to upload their videos.
What I like about GeoBeats.com is that the picture quality is very good, and you can search by destination and then topic, or just browse though the site as I did and found a very interesting video on Local Etiquette in Tokyo.

After a while you get fed up with user generated media (ugm) and want something a little more polished. This is a very nice site and I like the way it goes against the current zeitgeist (i.e. ugm)
UGM reminds me of the punk scene in 70′s Britain. The good thing about it was anybody could pick up a guitar and start a band. The bad thing was anybody could pick up a guitar and start a band!

Personally, I prefer the local etiquette in Osaka: drink beer and party!

An enjoyable video. I’m not sure I’d like to visit Japan as I hate fish.
