First Choice Holidays is planning a consumer awareness campaign on Air Passenger Duty and is calling on its customers to make their views known by sending a postcard asking Gordon Brown to re-consider. The postcard will be addressed to Gordon Brown, telling him what they think of his tax.

Leaflets will be distributed at travel agencies, in resorts and on flights. Customers do not need to pay for postage, they can simply hand the card to a member of First Choice staff at UK travel agents and on First Choice flights, who will send it on their behalf.
Finally, US readers might be interested in a competition that Travel video site Travelistic are currently running until the end of the month. Upload a travel video, tagged ‘Winter holiday video’ and you could win a very funky 80gb video iPod [I’m jealous!] plus many other cool prizes, so visit Travelistic for more information.

It’s a shame that the competition at travelistic is only for US readers, Darren. We have just loaded two fantastic Videos of The Palazzo Belmonte in Salerno in Italy with Travellistic on our Blog at http://www.selectworld.travel.
It’s the first time we have used Travelistic and downloading an mpeg2 hi definition took us 12 hours for each Video to download, but fo the quality it was well worth it.
The Only Problem is we had already downloaded to the blog before we realised that you can choose your own Thumbnail image. So The first Screen shows no Image, although if you double Click the Video Plays.
I’ve been back into Travelistic, but it doesn’t seem that you can go back and change the thumnail image? The Second Video has a great thumbnail image.
Do You know anyone at Travelistic I could contact Darren?

Lee, I’ll email you my contacts I have tonight. I’m “mobile” at the moment.

I agree with Jeb, but I’d love to know what he said that was removed.
Why Dazza? Free speach etc .

Rohan, do you think people want to be reading the type of language written - I think not, so there’s times where I have to edit peoples comments [or not display them at all]
