I hope you all had a great Christmas - thanks to Alastair for stepping into his blogging shoes in my absence. Over the next few days, you might see the travel rants blog theme change, temporarily, but don’t worry, you’re not going mad - I’m just in the process of creating the new design, ready for it’s launch in January.

It's official - I'm addicted to the Internet

I’m an Internet addict, and even during the Christmas holidays - so this weekend I did some surfin’ on the net and found a few cool travel sites that I thought I would share with you.

Palin’s Travels

Great site, filled with Travel content on Michael Palin’s travel documentaries. View videos, browse photographs and read about the making of documentaries like Pole to Pole and Sahara.

BugBog Travel Guides

BugBog features useful guides covering Travel Health, Safety, World Festivals and tons of content on specific holiday destinations. I found the travel guides useful because they told you when it’s the best time to visit, and the advantages and disadvantages of the destination.

Travel Health.co.uk

TravelHealth.co.uk is a very useful site full of content, and features a vaccination chart, which I found extremely helpful. The Disease prevention section provided information on a vast number of diseases, including who is at risk, and how you can prevent from getting the disease.
