If you have booked a holiday with CT2 [HCCT Holiday Limited Loco Flights] then it’s important to know that the company has ceased trading, and the Civil Aviation Authority are currently dealing with claims. If you one of the 37,000 holidaymakers affected then please visit the CAA website to find out more information about how to claim a full refund.

I’ve blogged about the popular Travel Supermarket site a few times on Travel Rants. According to Travolution.co.uk, the travel comparison site have added Eurostar within it’s search results, to give us consumers more choice when looking for holidays in France and Belgium.
Six US airlines, United, Continental, AirTran, Midwest, US Airways and Delta are all battling it out to see will become the first to merge. What will the merger mean for us travellers? Well, some people have commented that it’ll mean cheaper flights, but I can’t see that happening - what the US desperately lacks is a low cost airline.

To everyone esle caught up in this CT2 fiasco, Jet2 have just added extra capacity and flights on the 22nd Dec and 2nd Jan. Those Christmas and New Year trips might not be ruined after all. Now the fun begins with trying to claim back off the CAA.

It seems there were a number of agents closing in the past few weeks, with the lead up to Christmas. Thankfully, people will be refunded, but it doesn’t pay for a spoilt Christmas holiday.
