Interesting news just sent to me from my good friends at Travelistic. It appears that US based Travelocity have moved into the blogging arena. It’s good to see big players in the travel industry like Travelocity, getting into blogging as it adds a human element to the company, that booking travel online looses.

Interesting that the content is focused on personal travel experiences rather than promoting the Travelocity site, which is a nice refreshing change from other commercial blogs. The blog is easy to read, but I’d like to see a few more images in the blog posts to break up the content a little.
So, if you are in need for some holiday inspiration, check out The Window Seat.

Well, to be fair it wasn’t my find
I’m looking forward to reading the blog though.

I don’t like it. It’s too personal, too token and too American. Can’t see it catching on at all. No more useful than thousands of other blogs out there. Corporate sites can work. Has anyone seen Eurostar’s Voice of a City (www.voiceofacity.com). It’s much more focused on a specific subject and genuinely useful.

I enjoyed reading it but it’s not as good to read as this blog though.
