Even the round the world travelers end up at home and then, what happens to their blog? Then there's the question of travel industry blogs, of which there are plenty, blogs about hotels or the Gadling style blogs that mention destinations - those are for people planning travels rather than written by travelers themselves. I find that the most enduring ones are blogs by travel writers, a whole OTHER sector - those folks do some of the most interesting blogging (for me). For what it's worth and all that.
