The weather is for many an essential factor when planning an holiday, and what better resource to have then the Weather 2 Travel site. You will find various weather stats including, the best month to visit a specific holiday destination, and number of hours of sunshine or rain levels etc.

Check the Weather before you Book

A site that I came across at the World Travel Market is wegolo.com, where you can search for low cost flights by the temperature. I’m yet to be convinced that this type of search will be popular with travellers, but it might be a good site to check before booking your flight.

Has a look at the site………only shows European destinations, oops sorry or should I say only goes as far as Morocco and the Canary Islands.

Carol, do you mean the wegolo.com website? I’ve not had a proper look around the site yet, but disappointing if it’s just European destinations.

Yes, that is the one…..entered all London Area Airports and all I got up was as far away as Morocco and the Canary Islands.

I will go back again and take another look - to be sure, to be sure!!!

Really had to work hard at this - but I did manage to get “up” Dubai, New York and Los Angeles. Very difficult site to navigate - if I had been a prospective traveller I would have gone elsewhere.
Looks like they only quote destinations served by either Budget Airlines or Charters, but the strage thing was it did not give me comparisons with other airlines.

Weather 2 Travel was really good Darren!

I’ve had a play around with the wegolo site and wasn’t that impressed. I prefer Momondo.com as an alternative for finding cheap flights for Europe and further a field.

I do like Weather 2 Travel though, I have already used that site to find the temp for Oslo in February.
