I found another exciting website in the mountain of emails. TravelHiker.com – a social travel networking site, that allows travellers to share photographs, articles, and reviews of hotels, destinations and resorts.

TravelHiker.com launch revenue sharing site

James Holmes, founder of TravelHiker.com told me

We have just launched The TravelHiker Project – the world’s interactive travel guide. Members are invited to sign up to write detailed and personalised guides to particular cities or areas and then can share in the advertising revenue generated by the adverts displayed by Google on their page 50/50.

Members can create detailed city guides, insert their Google AdSense ID in their profile and earn when people visiting their page click on the adverts displayed there. Payments to contributing city guide members come directly from Google.

TravelHiker.com is well designed, easy to navigate and allows travellers and travel addicts to communicate. If your taking a trip and want some company, then you can submit a trip advertisement, or you can post a diary of your trip for other travellers to read.

Great site – and well worth a visit.
