Travel Rants attending the World Travel Market

I’m incredibly excited about the upcoming and my first visit to the World Travel Market, and especially since I will be one of the delegates at the Travolution Conference.

I’ll be mingling with the likes of Esteban Walther, the Head of Travel Europe, for Google and Mark Jones, Group Managing Director of Lastminute.com and of course Kevin May, editor of Travolution.

I’m heading down to London on the 6 November, and I will be there until the final day on the 9 November – you won’t believe how many websites I have visited to book a hotel, but I have managed to book myself into a hotel which has internet access enabling me to blog about the conference and the WTM - thanks to the very smooth searching features on SideStep.com

Darren, I just hope you have a pile of cards etc. ready to hand out - and we will stand by for the “deluge” of enquiries. You will be mixing with the “big boys”….so good luck, and enjoy!

I’m not at the level enough to be able to afford a stall at the WTM, but when I am Carol, you’ll be the first to find out

It’s interesting looking at the exhibitors and delegates at the conference, that they are no holiday rental companies there. I’ll be there really to listen and learn, and take loads of advice and information back to improve the main business, and of course Travel Rants.

This is Alastair James from http://www.mapsack.com who you wrote about last month. We will be at the WTM to find partners for our mapping technology. We wont have a stand, but will be moving about.
