What about this then – I’ve travelled around various Greek Islands, and the public transport was exceptional. Today, the organisation at the airport in Kos, was excellent, we were boarded in plenty of time and took off on time.

Then we arrive at Manchester Airport – 15 minute delay getting off the plane because they “had forgotten about us.” No problem I thought, so I went to collect my luggage, and walked to terminal two which is where the train station is located.

I arrive at the platform of our Great British Rail to find that ALL of the trains from Manchester Airport train station have been cancelled – so we lugged our luggage up the stairs, to the bus station, to be then shoved – yep, shoved on to a coach, and dropped off at Piccadilly.

It could only happen in our well organised (please get the sarcasm!) non third world country – England should be ashamed. Anyway, I’m back, from my excellent, relaxing holiday on the beautiful island of Kos – oh well back to reality!

I’ll be reporting back about my trip tomorrow..

Thanks Carol! :)

I had a superb time in Kos, and the other islands. I’ll be blogging about it soon, but I have fallen in love with the little fishing village of Mastichari — it was perfect weather in the mid to late 70s plus two days in the early 80s, had a few cloudy days, but it was still warm and perfect walking weather.

Now its back to reality, and I’m trying to get all my work done for next weekend, because I’m then in London for 4 days at the World Travel Market (more information on that very soon!)
