Well, this is my last blog entry until I return from my holiday in Kos, one of Greece’s many scenic Islands – Tomorrow, I am staying at the Travelodge Manchester Airport hotel to unwind, and watch the football before departing to bed early – I have to be at Terminal one for 4.55am – 3 hours before the departure of the plane.

Goodbye England .. Hellooo Kos!

I’m back on the 26 October, so keep safe, and continue to leave comments and hopefully I will have time to jump into a web café and blog about my Kos experience.

Don’t worry Lee – I won’t be too tough on you! ;) I’m not expecting the Ritz, you pay for what you get is the motto I work on. I’m at the Travelodge hotel at the moment, making use of the £1 for 10 minutes internet access (Outragious!!)

Kali-Nichta!!

5 days on Kos was one of the cheapest holidays I ever had out of London. Whilst it wasn’t the best, or even close, the seafood was excellent the cocktails large…and as yousaid…you get what you pay for!

Phew! Lee you can sleep easily knowing you have chosen the perfect holiday destination for me right now! All I wanted to is relax, and see some of the Island, and Mastichari is the perfect base to get around Kos.

It’s very quiet, but the locals are friendly, and the food delicious – and big portions! Briefly yesterday I went to Kefalos, and walked down from the town to Kamari Bay, the weather has been perfect – yesterday it was 81 degree’s and today, in the 70′s and a little cooler with some cloud – perfect walking weather though

I’m in Kos town at the moment and making my way around, not sure what I am walking to but I find that’s the best way to find things.

Hi Lucy, welcome to Travel Rants from Kos! hehe Your right about it being cheap, and the seafood is excellent. I prefer Kos over other European holiday resorts I have visited, ie.. Spain etc – simply because the locals are so friendly! :-)
