I want to be the first blogger in space… but it looks like Anousheh Ansari has beaten me to it – the space travel tourist offered an insight into life on the international space station through her space travel blog.

Apparently Anousheh, paid $US20 million (£10,687,100 million) for her 10-day adventure, but her trip of a lifetime ended yesterday when she touched down in Kazakhstan with Russian cosmonaut Pavel Vinogradov and US astronaut Jeff Williams.

I am informed that she was a last-minute substitute for a Japanese businessman who failed a medical test for the space flight.
