How embarrassing – as I mentioned in my previous blog entry about Kos, I called Lee from Select World Travel (who were amazingly helpful!) to book my 7 day relaxing break on the island of Kos. We went through the booking process, and he took my debit card details and would you believe it – I don’t have enough funds in my personal account to cover the £194 for the holiday!

Cashflow problems for a Travel Blogger

I’m not only a travel blogger but an annoying holidaymaker now Cashflow problems for a Travel Blogger

Don’t worry though – I’ll just have to sell my body on the streets of Leeds tonight to pay for it (only kidding!) and whilst I am on the subject of holiday bookings, can I just say how frustrated I was last night searching for late deals on the internet.

Actually – a new blog entry coming soon with the 10 things I hate about booking a holiday online, oh and I recommend anyone whose looking for a holiday, and wants the human touch, from someone who knows what they are talking about – call or email Select World Travel (even the staff are polite on the telephone!)

Nice comments Darren, but we prefer to get the thanks, when you come back and have had a ( hopefully) wonderful holiday and Certainly in Mastichari ( many fond memories) you should have just that ( on receipt of payment of course :-)

Carol, on today’s market rates, not a great deal haha. Today’s farce has made me realise I need to bank with a bank that is open on a Saturday!!

At least you learned that lesson while you were still at home. Imagine if you were away on holiday and needed their help!!

Carol, thankfully my business bank is open 6 days a week, but yep, the Yorkshire Bank aren’t too handy for travellers who need them at the weekend!

Kevin, a few quid, I’ll have you know I actually made £9.99 tonight :D

Well, it was a cold night, and I thought I did well earning £9.99! Anyway, it doesn’t matter because on Sunday I earned £190 so I have pleasure in confirming that I will be visiting sunny Kos on the 19th October – how you lot will cope without my ranting for a full week, I don’t know.
