This year we’ve seen the Turkey bombings, continuation of the war in Iraq, confliction in Lebanon and Israel, today, we have and a military coup in of Asia’s most popular tourist destinations of Thailand, with 750,000 British tourists visiting each year.

I wouldn’t want to be visiting Bangkok right now, but what are we supposed to do – stop travelling to every country in case some natural disaster, war or confliction starts whilst you are there – is it just me or has the world gone nuts?
If you have plans to visit Bangkok in the next week, I would strongly suggest that you visit the Foreign & Commonwealth Office website for up-to-date advice on travelling to Thailand.

Visit Tasmania, apart from being one of the most beautiful places on earth, it’s one of the safest.

I’ve been to Tasmania, stayed in Hobart for 2 weeks on my trip around Oz in 2004. Great mountain biking down Mt Wellington!
Your right it’s an awesome place!

Buy Hobart.. I wish I could afford to buy a house overlooking Mt Wellington and breed Tasmanian devils

I think Thailand is perfectly safe right now- I sure hope this doesn’t effect the economy due to wary travelers.
