Some of us prefer beach holidays, personally, I love sightseeing holidays, but how about something completely different – a shark diving holiday? Well, if you’re an adrenaline junkie, this type of adventure is perfect for you.

Since 2000, Shark Diver have offered Great White Shark cage diving. In 2005 Patric Douglas, and his team with the addition of a second shark diving boat geared towards corporate groups and upscale shark divers.
Join the Shark Diver team to discover huge Great White Sharks on their shark vessels in the industry’s largest shark cages. Divers seeking a week long encounter with the ocean’s ultimate predator no longer need to travel over 5000 miles to South Africa or Australia.
To interact with these unique animals, some more than 18 feet in length, the Shark Diver team have spent five months building the world’s largest shark cages totalling 100 square feet with a unique external flotation system that provides a safer way for divers to come nose-to-nose with one ton Great White Sharks below the water’s surface.

To book a Great White Shark cage diving adventure with Patric Douglas and the crew of Shark Diver, call 415 235 9410 (add 001 from the UK) or visit the very well designed Shark Diver.com website.
It sounds a superb experience getting so close to the sharks, but would you book a shark diving holiday? If you have booked an adventure holiday like Shark diving, then let me know - it’ll be interesting to hear your stories.

Hi Darren,
I actually booked a 7 night expedition with Rodney Fox whilst I was in Port Lincoln in Australia. But unfortunately due to water temperatures it was cancelled. I was so disapointed as they had just finished making a perspex tube for diving with so you couldn’t see anything protecting you. I’m sure I would have been a bit scared but to me they are the most amazing animal out there and of course the only one true predator! (They are the only living creature whose eyes move backwards to protect themselves when attacking as these are the most delicate part of any living creature)
Have you seen the BBC Documentary Planet Earth? Some amazing footage of Great Whites breaching.

That would of been a superb experience. I remember going diving and snorkling in the great barrier reef - unexplainable experience, Im not a strong swimmer, but there was no way I was not going to go through the experience, when I had travelled all that way.

Hi Guys,
A group of us went out with Sharkdiver last year, (and after a long ride to the island), saw more sharks than I’ve ever seen on TV or Discovery Channel- the site was incredible! Overall, I would say that it was a once in a lifetime trip- and the food was good too…plus I got to see an 18 foot GW, up close!
Glad to hear you are going to Australia, Rodney Fox rocks!
Take care,
JC
