Every year I get an invitation for the World Travel Market event, which is held at the London Docklands – I’m determined this time I am going to get time off work and spend a few days networking with other Travel addicts.

This four day event kicks off on the 6 November and climaxes on the 9 November. The World Travel Market isn’t just an exhibition though - it also features:
- Opening Ceremony
- Exhibition Hall
- Stage Events
- Seminars
The first day is by invitation only and is not open to the general public – most of the visitors on this day are travel companies, agents and travel media - you get to network with travel professionals and experts, so if you have any spare invites going around, make sure you don’t forget me!
If you in London during the 6 – 9 November then let me know and we’ll meet up for a drink or two and discuss our addictions to travel! If you are in London for the event, then I suggest you book your hotel as soon as possible, as the hotels near the docklands can fill up fast!
I can recommend www.activehotels.com – I’ve used them in the past for hotels in the capital.

A bit of blatant plugging here, but Travolution will also be running a two-day conference for all things online travel in the ExCel centre during World Travel Market. One day of seminars, another day to debate the key issues affecting the industry in the digital world. Details to come in the coming weeks…

Blatant plugging is fine when it’s useful - thanks for that Kevin. Is there a charge to attend the conference? I probably wouldn’t be able to attend both days, but I’m very much into online travel.

There will be a charge, as with most conferences. details to follow… delegates will also have to register for World Travel Market beforehand, to ease entry on the day.
