Sydney - World’s best city

Sydney has again been singled out as the world’s best city by American travellers. Sydney trumped Paris, New York and Barcelona taking US Travel + Leisure magazine’s award for the eighth time since the publication started 10 years ago, newspapers reported today.

The magazines 900,000 subscribers were asked to evaluate each city by its sights, culture, arts, restaurants, and food, people, shopping and value. The incredible diversity of Sydney’s multi-cultural society has produced a food lover’s paradise.

Australia has no rival when it comes to clean, fresh food. Brilliant chefs at top restaurants constantly stretch the boundaries of what goes with what to create dishes which blend influences from other countries, notably Japan and Asia, with superb local produce. Seafood and prime beef and lamb feature prominently.

Kids Club at Oceanworld Manly - Sydney
Oceanworld runs a Kids Club for children from the ages of 5 on Sunday mornings - between 8.00am and 10.00am. Activities include : Help feed the lizards, clean the tanks, feed the eels and fish, and check the health of hermit crabs and sea urchins.
