Question:
Help! I’m travelling to Prague in April and I don’t know how to get from the airport to my hotel in the city.
Can you give me some options to use?
Darren Cronian | 27 February, 2007 at 9:18 am
Rohan, you can get the bus or tube from the airport to the city centre, but personally I’d look at getting a airport transfer company to get you from the airport to the door of your hotel.
They will meet you at the arrival lounge and then drive you direct, and if you are lucky enough to get an English speaking driver you can ask questions about the local area, which makes the extra £’s worth it.
Transport in Prague is cheap and reliable, but watch your pockets for pickpocketers.

My wife and I are traveling to Cancun next week and we are looking, especially, for restaurant suggestions, as well as ideas about excursions from our resort. We are already planning to visit Chichen Itza and Tulum — is there anything we should know about either place?

Hi, we own a small bush lodge outside of Pretoria South Africa, and I am not sure how blogging will help us promote visits to our website. Can you give me any suggestions. Thanks

My airline went into liquidation, and it seems my holiday insurance won’t cover it. Can I at least get the flight tax back on it, and if so how?

I am currently booking a holiday through Best@Travel for over £15,000 who are ABTA approved. With all the press at the moment with Travel companies going bust, what insurances do I have in place if this happened with Best @ Travel?
Charlotte | 10 November, 2008 at 12:06 pm
What does abta really do for you?

Not a great deal. There a travel association for British travel agents. They assist consumers in issues that they have had booking.
Err whoses Becky?

hi so me and my friend are both 17 and we want to travel from london to new york but we dont no if we can get a hotel because we are only 17?? i wanted to know if it was possible if our parents booked it and we stayed there? or if there is no way
thanks

Hi Alishea
I think airlines, hotels and travel companies operate differently. I’ve heard of 17 year olds booking package holidays, but most companies won’t as your sign into a contract when you book a holiday, and have to be 18. What you might be best doing is contacting an airline that you think are flying with, and emailing a few hotels. Some of them may allow you to stay providing your parents are paying and sign to say it’s okay for you to travel.
Hope this helps
